Hi everyone!
My Tahnksgiving this year was wonderful. My mom flew up to visit for a few days. We saw three plays: Hair, The 39 Steps, and Finian's Rainbow. They were all good especially HAIR!
We ate dinner at Uncle Donald's house in Long Island. It was nice to see everyone. All their kids are doing well in school and all that.
If I get some pictures, I'll upload them.
Not much else has happened. I did finally get my visa! It's so fancy!

Events
Hi everyone!
Well, this week has gone by pretty fast since Dad and Grandma left. It was so much fun having them here! The weather got a lot warmer for a few days after they left, but not its back to being chilly and very windy.
I've been working a lot of special events a the gym. They are a lot of fun. They are receptions run by our Violet Booster Club. NYU's mascot used to be the Violets- the flower, not the color. Now it is pretty lame, a Bobcat. But since the Booster Club deals mostly with alumni, it's still called the Violet Booster Club.
When I work, we just set us the tables an food and wait for the alumni to finish playing alumni games, usually against current student athletes. When they're done they come eat the food and we just make sure everything stays neat and well-stocked. It's really not a hard job at all, sometimes we have time to do our homework while we're waiting. At the end, if there's leftover food (and there usually is) we all bring tupperware containers to fill up and bring home.

Grandma and Dad Visit
This weekend, Dad and Grandma Nora visited me for three days. They flew up on Thursday night. The first floor of my dorm, Greenwich Hotel, is a real hotel that gives a very big discount to the families of NYU students.
We went out to dinner to Risotteria, a very delicious smelling restaurant near Greenwich Hotel. On Friday we ate brunch at Cornelia Street Cafe and then headed downtown. There was a ticker-tape parade because the Yankees won the World Series or something, so we watched that for a little while and were annoyed by Yankee fans from Jersey. We also walked to the 9/11 Memorial Freedom Tower construction site.
We spent the rest of the day at the Metropolitan Museum of Art which is always so much fun. Our buttons were light pink. I didn't have my camera this day, so sadly, no pictures here. (Unless Randy sends me some!)
Friday night, Dad ordered pizza for all my friends. They all think he is nice.
On Satuday, we headed up to Times Square. Grandma was really excited to be there. Here's a picture

Then, we saw MARY POPPINS on Broadway and it was SO good!!!!
We went home. We rode lots of cabs.
Then we ate at The Waverly Restaurant with my friend Dasha.
On Sunday, they left around 1PM so first we are brunch at The Washington Square Diner and I gave a quick tour of the NYU are. Here we are in the park

I had so much fun this weekend. I love when people visit me (and take me out to eat). Also, I was worried that I didn't study enough for a Spanish test that I had today, but it turned out that I studied peanty and the test seemed very easy.

Halloween
We all had the best costumes this year. We handed out candy to trick or treaters who signed up to trick or treat at our dorm. Here is how I decorated our dorm-

Then we dressed up as burritos to get free Chipotle burritos.

Our next plan was to go to the Village Halloween Parade. If you're in costume you can be in it. That's what we did last year and it was a lot of fun. Sadly, this year, it was pouring down rain. After walking around for a few hours and getting completely soaked, we all just went home. It was still fun. We saw lots of good costumes and stopped by a bakery for some dessert.
This is my costume!!! I was Eloise!!!! I made the costume all by myself with stuff I already had, borrowed from friends, or bought super cheap.

This is me as Eloise with my friend Dasha dressed as Twiggy

Michelle as Where's Waldo

These two Sarahs were Christmas

My roommate Sarah M as Nancy Botwin from Weeds.
